Founded in 1983 by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series began as a humble cassette-selling business in Delhi before growing into one of the most dominant names in the global entertainment industry. Its YouTube presence, launched in 2006, is now home to thousands of Bollywood hits, devotional tracks, independent music, and film content, drawing billions of views each month.

 

After Gulshan Kumar’s tragic assassination in 1997, his son Bhushan Kumar took the reins and transformed the label into a cinematic juggernaut, producing blockbusters and expanding internationally. Today, T-Series represents not just music, but the heartbeat of Indian pop culture on a digital stage.

 

This 300-million milestone also serves as a symbol of how music has shaped the modern internet. While earlier YouTube icons like PewDiePie defined the individual creator era, T-Series’ ascent marks the dominance of brand-driven, high-volume content. It also reflects the growing global appetite for Indian content — from Bollywood dance numbers to soul-stirring ghazals.
