With his recent win at the 71st National Film Awards for Best Music Direction – Vaathi (Tamil), the multitalented composer now joins the elite league of maestros Ilaiyaraaja and A.R. Rahman — the only other music directors in Indian cinema to have won National Awards for both Songs and Background Score. Talk about legendary company!
