The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Trailer Drops

Amazon MGM Studios has released the official main trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, an intense and gritty prequel series to the hit show The Terminal List. Slated to premiere on August 27, 2025, the series explores the origin story of Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch, tracing his evolution from Navy SEAL to a covert CIA operative.

 

This spin-off dives deep into the murky world of espionage and black ops. Dark Wolf promises a thrilling mix of action, betrayal, and psychological tension as it peels back the layers of what it truly means to serve in the shadows. The story sets up Edwards’ path long before he joins James Reece (Chris Pratt) in the original series, offering new insight into his motives and the high personal cost of life on the frontlines of intelligence warfare.

 

Kitsch leads an ensemble cast that includes Chris Pratt reprising his role as Reece in guest appearances, along with Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati, Robert Wisdom, and Jared Shaw. The trailer showcases high-stakes missions, morally grey choices, and a darker, more grounded tone compared to its predecessor.

 

Dark Wolf is co-created and co-written by Jack Carr, the New York Times bestselling author of The Terminal List, and David DiGilio, the original series showrunner.
