Payal Malik’s Temple Seva Is Nothing But A Clumsy Attempt At Damage Control

Payal Malik's Temple Seva Is Nothing But A Clumsy Attempt At Damage Control

In a new low for manufactured humility, YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Payal Malik has once again insulted public intelligence with a hollow apology disguised as penance. After facing massive backlash for a tasteless video in which she posed as Goddess Kali, Payal attempted to save face by deleting the video and rushing to a temple alongside husband Armaan Malik, where they were seen washing utensils and serving food to devotees. But let’s call it what it is — cheap theatrics under the guise of spirituality.

She also shared a video where she is seen making an public apology for her distasteful video.

The timing couldn't be more transparent. With public outrage peaking and religious sentiments rightfully inflamed, the couple didn’t turn to reflection — they turned to damage control. This isn’t remorse; it’s a carefully choreographed PR act, one that uses temple premises as a backdrop for cleaning up a reputation they’ve willingly trashed through years of attention-seeking, morally bankrupt content.

It’s laughable to think seva for a few hours erases the insult of dressing up as a revered deity for views. Religious faith is not a costume, nor a clickbait prop. By reducing a sacred figure to a reel, Payal Malik crossed a line, and now wants to mop up the mess with dish soap and cameras rolling. The temple seva was not a spiritual gesture — it was a desperate spectacle staged to cool public anger without showing any real accountability.

In reality, this episode is just another chapter in Payal and Armaan Malik’s long history of clout-chasing and controversy engineering. They’re not apologizing because they believe they were wrong — they’re apologizing because they got caught. And now, wrapped in stolen divinity and sanctified cutlery, they want the audience to clap. But the public isn’t that naïve. This isn’t redemption — it’s manipulation, and we see right through it.
