Celebrities Grace Red Carpet Screening of Short Film Fragile on Fragile X Syndrome

A star-studded evening unfolded as renowned names from the entertainment industry—including Rajneesh Duggal, Sham Kaushal, Rohit Roy, Hiten Tejwani, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sharad Malhotra, and Deepti Sadhwani—graced the red carpet screening of Fragile, a short film that delves into an often-overlooked genetic condition: Fragile X Syndrome. The event brought together actors, filmmakers, and advocates, all united by a shared mission—to raise awareness about this rare disorder.

 

Produced by Flow Like Water Films and backed by Rajniesh Duggal and Anand Pachigar, Fragile holds the distinction of being India’s first film centered on Fragile X Syndrome. This neurodevelopmental condition is not widely known in India, making the film a powerful vehicle for education and empathy. Through an emotionally rich narrative, the film sheds light on the social stigma and misunderstanding that families of children with Fragile X often face.

 

Starring Amruta Khanvilkar and Rajniesh Duggal as parents to a young boy named Aarav, the film captures a heartfelt journey of acceptance, resilience, and advocacy.
