Official ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Poster Reveals New Character Varang, Trailer to Debut with ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’

The official handle of Avatar has unveiled a striking new poster for the highly anticipated third film in the franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash, introducing audiences to a mysterious new character named Varang. The announcement came with an exciting reveal: fans eager for a first look at the film’s trailer can catch it exclusively in theaters this weekend, screening alongside The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This marks the beginning of the next phase in James Cameron’s epic sci-fi saga.

 

Directed, co-written, and co-edited by James Cameron, Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the story from The Way of Water (2022) and deepens the mythology of Pandora. Co-written by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, along with story contributions from Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno, the film promises to explore both new biomes and deeper emotional arcs, while raising the stakes in the escalating conflict between humans and the Na’vi.

 

The returning ensemble cast features familiar faces including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet, joined by newcomers David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin.
