Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja, Son of Sardaar 2 promises to deliver a blend of action, comedy, and Punjabi spirit. The film began principal photography in July 2024 and has been shot across stunning locations including Edinburgh, London, and Chandigarh.
With Ajay Devgn reprising his beloved ‘Sardaar’ avatar, the sequel introduces a fresh storyline and new characters while retaining the humor and cultural flair of the original. The cast also features Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Sharat Saxena. Notably, the film marks the posthumous release of actor Mukul Dev, adding an emotional layer to the project for fans and the film fraternity alike.
Set to release on 1st August 2025, Son of Sardaar 2 is poised to be one of the major Bollywood releases of the year, combining star power, nostalgia, and big-screen spectacle. With support from production houses Jio Studios, ADFFilms, and T-Series, and a script helmed by Qismat writer Jagdeep Sidhu, expectations are riding high.
