Rajkummar Rao Starrer Maalik Makes Its Mark at the Box Office

Pen Movies has announced the box office figures for Maalik, the recently released action thriller starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. The film has earned ₹16.90 crore since its theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Accompanying the announcement was a striking new poster and the caption, “Badal chuka hai har theatre ka mahaul, jabse Maalik ne li hai entry,” reflecting the film’s intense tone and solid audience traction despite mixed critical reviews.

 

Directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani, Maalik is a gritty action-packed drama that places Rajkummar Rao in a high-stakes role as a man navigating the dark underbelly of power, crime, and morality. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar and veteran Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, alongside a strong supporting cast including Saurabh Shukla, Saurabh Sachdeva, Swanand Kirkire, and Anshumaan Pushkar.
