Set in the enigmatic town of Charandaspur, Mandala Murders follows detectives Rea Thomas (played by Vaani Kapoor) and Vikram Singh as they investigate a string of ritualistic killings that unearth dark ties to a centuries-old secret society. The story, inspired in part by true events such as the 2018 Kerala human sacrifice case, weaves together myth, murder, and morality in a tense and atmospheric narrative.
Also starring Vaibhav Raj Gupta and Surveen Chawla, the series is created by Gopi Puthran (Mardaani 2) and co-directed by Puthran and Manan Rawat. It is produced by YRF Entertainment, with Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra, Yogendra Mogre, and Akshaye Widhani serving as executive producers.
Blending real-world horrors with gothic storytelling, Mandala Murders explores how superstition, trauma, and vengeance collide in a small town where the lines between victim and perpetrator blur dangerously. The trailer, releasing tomorrow, is expected to offer a deeper look into the twisted world of Charandaspur ahead of the show’s 2025 release on Netflix.
