First Look of The Revolutionaries Unveiled: A Stirring Tribute to India's Unsung Freedom Fighters

The much-anticipated first look of The Revolutionaries is finally out, offering a compelling glimpse into a powerful new series that brings to life the lesser-known heroes of India’s freedom struggle. Headlined by an impressive ensemble cast featuring Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Jason Shah, the series promises to be a gripping retelling of history’s most daring patriots.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani, The Revolutionaries is adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal’s acclaimed book Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom. The series shines a spotlight on the fierce young men and women who believed in armed resistance as a necessary force to challenge and dismantle the British Empire. Far from the conventional narratives, this story celebrates the courage, sacrifices, and conviction of revolutionaries who risked—and often gave—their lives for independence.

Currently being filmed across multiple iconic locations in India—including Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, and Dehradun—The Revolutionaries is being mounted on a grand cinematic scale to authentically recreate the volatile and passionate era of early 20th-century India.

Slated to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in 2026, and streaming in over 240 countries and territories, The Revolutionaries is shaping up to be not just a historical drama, but a deeply emotional and timely reminder of the price paid for freedom—and the forgotten names behind it.
