Pawan Kalyan’s OG Wraps Shoot, All Set for Explosive Release on September 25

It’s a wrap for one of the most awaited Telugu films of the year! DVV Entertainment officially announced the completion of shooting for OG (stylised as They Call Him OG), with a powerful update: “All shots fired and done... Now it’s theatres’ turn… #OG’s ERA is set to stun.” Directed by Sujeeth, the action-packed gangster thriller stars superstar Pawan Kalyan in a gritty new avatar, ready to make a thunderous return to the big screen on September 25, 2025.

 

OG follows the story of Ojas Gambheera, aka OG — a feared don who re-emerges in Mumbai after disappearing for ten years. His mission? To take down another powerful crime boss, Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi, marking the actor’s Telugu debut. The film promises a high-octane narrative laced with vengeance, power struggles, and stylized action, all set in the heart of the Mumbai underworld. Priyanka Mohan joins the cast in a key role, adding depth to the story's emotional undercurrent.

 

The film has been in the making since April 2023, with major portions shot across iconic locations in Mumbai to capture the gritty realism of the crime world. Ravi K. Chandran handles cinematography, ensuring the film’s visual tone matches its dark and brooding storyline. Backing the atmosphere with his signature style is music director Thaman S, whose soundtrack is already generating buzz among fans eager for the next big mass anthem.
