Teaser of Sant Tukaram Unveiled: A Soul-Stirring Glimpse into India’s Spiritual Heritage

The spiritual essence of India's cultural legacy comes alive with the newly released teaser of Sant Tukaram, a Hindi feature film starring acclaimed actor Subodh Bhave in the titular role. Dropped by the film’s official handle with the caption "Bhakti, Gyaan Aur Virasat Ka Sangam", the teaser invites viewers into the life and journey of one of Maharashtra’s most revered saints. The film is all set to release in theatres on 18 July 2025.

 

Written and directed by Aditya Om, Sant Tukaram promises to be a cinematic tribute to devotion, wisdom, and inner awakening. The film portrays the journey of Sant Tukaram, a poet-saint of the Bhakti movement whose verses still echo in the hearts of millions. Set against the backdrop of Dehu, Pandharpur, and the Wari pilgrimage, the teaser gives a first look at a visually rich, emotionally stirring narrative that blends spirituality with storytelling.

 

Apart from Subodh Bhave’s deeply rooted portrayal of Tukaram, the film boasts a powerful supporting cast including Sanjay Mishra, Arun Govil, Shishir Sharma, Hemant Pandey, Sheena Chohan, and Shiva Suryavanshi. Produced by B. Gautham’s Curzon Films with Purushottam Studios as associate producers, the film is being distributed by Cinepolis India, setting the stage for a nationwide spiritual experience on the big screen.
