Zaid Darbar, Mehzabeen Faruqui, and Warda Khan Pay Last Respects to Sana Khan’s Mother

A wave of grief swept through the entertainment and spiritual community as friends and well-wishers gathered at former actress Sana Khan’s residence in Mumbai to pay their last respects following the passing of her mother, Saeeda Begum, on Tuesday. Saeeda had been unwell for some time, and her demise has left a deep void in the lives of those close to the family.

 

Among those who visited to offer their condolences were Zaid Darbar, Mehzabeen Faruqui, and Warda Khan, who were seen arriving solemnly at Sana's residence to support her and her husband, Mufti Anas Saiyad, during this difficult time. The atmosphere outside the house was heavy with emotion, as friends, family, and members of the community gathered in mourning.

 

Music composer Javed Ali was also spotted at the house, offering prayers and standing in solidarity with the grieving family. Sana, who left the entertainment industry to embrace a more spiritual path, shared the heartbreaking news via her Instagram stories, expressing her deep pain and asking for prayers for her late mother’s soul.

 

The Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) was held on Tuesday evening at Oshiwara Qabristan, following Isha prayers, where close relatives and well-wishers came together for the final rites. As messages of support continue to pour in, fans and followers of Sana Khan have taken to social media to offer prayers for her mother’s eternal peace and strength for the family in their time of loss.
