Pawan Kalyan’s Pan-India Epic ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ Gets a New Release Date

After multiple delays and much anticipation, Hari Hara Veera Mallu—the ambitious pan-India period action film starring Pawan Kalyan—finally has a new release date. The film is now officially slated to hit theaters on Thursday, 24 July 2025, across five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. For fans who’ve been waiting patiently, this marks a big moment, as the film has faced numerous postponements since it was first announced.

 

Set in the grandeur of the 17th century Mughal Empire, the film follows the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, with Pawan Kalyan taking on the lead role. The story promises high-stakes drama, action, and rebellion against the empire’s powerful elite. Joining him on screen are Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Satyaraj, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi, rounding out a strong ensemble cast. The scale of the film—its sets, costumes, and historical backdrop—positions it as a true cinematic spectacle.

 

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 has had an eventful production journey. Initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the latter parts of the film were taken over by A. M. Jyothi Krishna, with Krish still actively involved in the creative process. Delays were inevitable, partly due to the pandemic and partly because of Pawan Kalyan’s political engagements. But the makers have stayed committed to delivering a film that does justice to its scale and subject.

 

Adding to the film's promise is its music—composed by none other than M. M. Keeravani, the Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning composer behind RRR. Backed by producer A. Dayakar Rao and presented by A. M. Rathnam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is shaping up to be a major cinematic event. With the new release date locked in, the countdown has officially begun.
