Tanvi The Great Set for Global Release, Check Out The New Poster

After making waves at the Cannes Film Festival, veteran actor and filmmaker Anupam Kher is ready to bring his directorial passion project Tanvi The Great to audiences worldwide. With exactly one month to go, the film is slated for a grand global release on July 18, 2025.

 

Touted as a deeply emotional and powerful cinematic experience, Tanvi The Great has already garnered early praise for its moving narrative and impressive performances. The film features an illustrious ensemble cast, including Iain Glen (of Game of Thrones fame), Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Nasser, Karan Tacker, debutante Shubhangi, and Anupam Kher himself.

 

The story of Tanvi The Great remains tightly under wraps, but insiders and critics who witnessed its Cannes premiere describe it as an evocative blend of human drama, cultural depth, and resilience, promising to strike a universal emotional chord.

 

Adding to the film’s grandeur is its musical score, composed by none other than MM Keeravani, the Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning maestro behind Naatu Naatu (RRR). His involvement promises a soul-stirring soundtrack that complements the film’s narrative power.

 

Produced by Anupam Kher Studio in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Tanvi The Great is not only a cinematic endeavor but also a deeply personal one for Kher, marking his return to the director’s chair after over two decades. His last directorial, Om Jai Jagadish (2002), was well-received, but Tanvi The Great appears poised to redefine his legacy behind the camera.

 

The film’s distribution will be handled by AA Films, led by Anil Thadani, ensuring a wide release across international markets.
