And yet, as the show cheekily proclaims: “Naam First Copy hai, par yeh show 100% original hai” — a tagline that perfectly captures the irony where pirated content once inspired new waves of creativity, as supported by cultural economics research.
The trailer itself is a rollercoaster: from Munawar’s charismatic antics to the intriguing supporting cast featuring Ashi Singh, Gulshan Grover, and Krystle Dzousa, it paints a vivid picture of a wild, rule-breaking Mumbai full of ambition, hustle, and plenty of laughs.
Directed and penned by Farhan P Zamma, First Copy comes from Salt Media and RVCJ productions, promising slick storytelling wrapped in witty dialogue and sharp screenplay.
