Box Office Number Speaks For The Success Says Tarun Mansukhani On Housefull 5

After a long wait of 17 years, Tarun Mansukhani is back in the director’s chair and how! Talking about the success of Housefull 5, Tarun didn’t hold back his excitement. “The response has been amazing, the box-office numbers say everything, so the feeling is amazing. After a long gap of 17 years, my directorial released in theaters, one released on OTT in between, so when you come back after 17 years and mints 100 crore within the first week, it feels fantastic and it gives you great validation, so I am really very happy,” he told the media with all the joy you can imagine.

 

Now, imagine managing not just one or two, but a whopping 18 leading actors and actresses on one set! Sounds crazy, right? But Tarun says, “Working with such a huge star-cast, experience was fantastic. People might think it might have been difficult, but there was nothing like that. We shot the entire film in 4 months, so it just flew by like that.” The real challenge? “Only problem I was facing was how do I maintain my characters. I got 18 stars standing here on sets, but their characters, managing that was a task, because they are not Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar or Akshay Kumar for me, they are the characters of my film, and maintaining their stories and their character was little tough for me.” Basically, keeping the story balanced was a real juggling act!

 

Tarun’s journey in Bollywood has been nothing short of impressive. He started out as an assistant director on iconic films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Then came his directorial debut with Dostana, followed by Drive, and now he’s hit a jackpot with Housefull 5. Talk about a rollercoaster ride through Bollywood!

 

And there’s more good news for fans — word on the street is that Tarun will soon be directing the much-anticipated Dostana 2. If Housefull 5 is anything to go by, we can expect another hit full of laughs, drama, and star power. Looks like Tarun Mansukhani’s back with a bang, and we’re here for every moment of it!
