YRF Unveils Emotional Poster for ‘Barbaad’ from Saiyaara, Teasing Love, Loss & Star-Crossed Feels

Yash Raj Films just dropped the first look poster for “Barbaad,” the second single from their upcoming romantic drama Saiyaara, and let’s just say—it’s giving heartbreak, longing, and all the feels. The caption that came with it said it best: “A love story that completes you, can also make you #Barbaad…” Yeah, we’re not okay either. The song officially breaks tomorrow, and if the hauntingly poetic vibe of the title track was any indication, we’re definitely keeping tissues handy.

 

Directed by Mohit Suri (aka the man behind many of Bollywood’s most emotional music moments), Saiyaara stars fresh faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in what looks like a heady, starry-eyed romance with a cosmic twist. Ahaan, who happens to be Ananya Panday’s cousin, is making his big-screen debut with this one, and honestly, the buzz is real. The teaser and title track are already out, painting the story of two souls pulled together—and torn apart—by fate.
