Akshay Kumar Responds to Paresh Rawal Exit from Hera Pheri 3: “He’s a Great Actor, A Dear Friend”

Amid swirling headlines and fan speculation, Akshay Kumar has finally broken his silence on the controversial exit of veteran actor Paresh Rawal from the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3. Speaking at the Housefull 5 trailer launch event, the actor addressed the ongoing legal dispute involving Rawal and the film’s producers — carefully choosing his words while emphasizing respect for his longtime co-star.

 

“First and foremost, I don’t appreciate the words like ‘fool’ or ‘foolish’ for my co-stars. To that I will say, that’s not right,” Akshay said when asked about reported comments surrounding the conflict. “He is with me. I’ve worked with him for the last 30–32 years. We are very good friends. He is a great actor. I really admire him.”

 

While Akshay refrained from diving into specifics, his tone made it clear that he wished to maintain both dignity and diplomacy in a situation that’s escalated publicly in recent weeks. “Whatever is going on, I don’t think this is the place where I’m going to talk about it,” he added. “It’s a very serious matter. It’s going to be handled by the court.”
