Kartik Aaryan Begins Shooting for Romantic Comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, Unveils Fresh Look as ‘Ray’

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has officially kicked off the shoot for his next romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, and he's bringing a whole new vibe to the screen. The actor took to social media on Friday to share glimpses of his transformation for the film, revealing a refreshing new look that marks a clear departure from his rugged, bearded appearance in his recent musical project alongside Sreeleela.

 

In the caption, Kartik wrote: “Ray is Raydyyyy #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri”, introducing fans to his character ‘Ray’ and setting the tone for what looks like a fun, youthful, and vibrant film. The stills showcase Kartik in a clean-shaven, slick avatar, radiating the charm that has made him a favorite among rom-com audiences.

 

Backed by a powerhouse production team including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora, the film is a joint venture between Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. Scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, the film aims to be a Valentine’s Day treat for couples, promising light-hearted romance, fun banter, and emotional moments.

 

While the official announcement of the female lead is yet to be made, sources suggest that Ananya Panday is on board, reuniting her with Kartik after their previous hit pairing. With a quirky title, a Valentine's weekend release, and Kartik Aaryan at the center of it all, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is already shaping up to be one of 2026’s most anticipated rom-coms.
