The wait is over—Mega 157, the much-anticipated collaboration between Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Anil Ravipudi, has officially gone on floors. Production house Shine Screens marked the occasion by sharing a striking visual: a close-up of Chiranjeevi’s eyes, captioned, “The eyes says it all.” The image, simple yet powerful, instantly set social media abuzz, signaling that a major cinematic event is now in motion.

 

Slated for a grand release during Sankranthi 2026, Mega 157 is expected to be one of the festival's biggest draws. With Chiranjeevi at the helm, the film carries monumental expectations, especially following Ravipudi’s last outing, Sankranthiki Vastunnam, which was a massive box office success. Their collaboration is already being touted as a perfect blend of mass appeal and festive flair, aimed squarely at family audiences and die-hard fans alike.

 

The shoot reportedly begins with a “highly entertaining episode,” staying true to Ravipudi’s signature style of blending humor with action and drama.
