Vindu Dara Singh also paid an emotional tribute, remembering their time together fondly. “Rest in peace my brother #MukulDev! Born on 17 September 1970 in New Delhi, Mukul Dev began his acting journey with the 1996 TV series Mumkin and made his film debut the same year in Dastak, starring alongside Sushmita Sen. Over nearly three decades, he carved a niche with memorable performances in films like Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardaar, R... Rajkumar, and Jai Ho. He worked across multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam, showcasing his range and dedication to the craft.
An alumnus of St. Columba’s School in Delhi, Mukul also held a certificate in aeronautics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Aviation in Raebareli — a testament to his diverse talents and interests beyond the screen.
