Voltage Pictures Unveils Trailer for Sicilian Thriller Here Now

Voltage Pictures has dropped the gripping trailer for Here Now—originally titled Fino alla fine—a high-stakes thriller set against the stunning yet sinister backdrop of Palermo, Sicily. Directed by acclaimed Italian filmmaker Gabriele Muccino, the film follows a young American woman whose dream vacation transforms into a nightmare. The trailer teases a relentless 24-hour descent into chaos, crime, and survival.

 

The story centers on Sophie (played by Elena Kampouris), a 20-year-old Californian on her final day in Italy with her sister. A chance encounter with a charming local, Giulio (Saul Nanni), and his tight-knit group of friends leads to what begins as a carefree night—but quickly unravels into a heart-pounding fight for survival. The film’s tension builds fast, hinting at a web of danger beneath Palermo’s scenic beauty.

 

Here Now stars Elena Kampouris, Saul Nanni, Lorenzo Richelmy, Enrico Inserra, and Francesco Garilli, and is co-written by Paolo Costella and Muccino himself. Known for blending emotional intimacy with cinematic scale, Muccino appears to be delivering a genre shift—leaning into fast-paced thriller territory without losing his signature character focus.
