Pawan Kalyan’s Pan-India Epic Hari Hara Veera Mallu Gets New Release Date

The highly anticipated historical action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, is now scheduled to hit theaters on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Originally slated for a March release, the film’s launch was postponed, reportedly due to the extensive post-production work required for its grand Mughal-era setting. The updated release date positions the film as a major summer release across India.

 

Directed by the duo Jyothi Krishna and Krish Jagarlamudi, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, and Nidhhi Agerwal in a key role. The musical score is composed by M.M. Keeravani, the Academy and Golden Globe-winning composer best known for RRR, adding further prestige and anticipation to the project. Produced by A. Dayakar Rao and presented by A.M. Rathnam, the film is shaping up as a true cinematic spectacle.

 

Hari Hara Veera Mallu will release in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—marking Pawan Kalyan’s first pan-India project. The story follows the early life of Veera Mallu, a legendary outlaw who dares to rebel against the powerful Mughal empire. With a mix of action, historical drama, and patriotic undertones, the film aims to cater to both fans of grand period films and Pawan Kalyan's loyal mass audience.

 

The subtitle “Sword vs Spirit” suggests a deeper philosophical battle at the heart of the story, promising a layered narrative that goes beyond traditional historical retellings. With post-production in full swing and buzz growing across multiple industries, Hari Hara Veera Mallu stands as one of 2025’s most awaited cinematic events.
