MUBI Unveils Teaser for Mussolini: Son of the Century, Starring Luca Marinelli as Il Duce

MUBI has officially released the gripping teaser trailer for its upcoming historical drama series, now titled Mussolini: Son of the Century in English. Originally listed as M. Son of the Century, the series is based on Antonio Scurati’s internationally acclaimed and Premio Strega-winning novel M. Il figlio del secolo, which traces the chilling and calculated rise of Benito Mussolini and the birth of fascism in Italy.

 

Starring Luca Marinelli in a transformative role as Mussolini, the mini-series explores the dark and manipulative path that turned a nation’s democratic hopes into authoritarian rule. Joining him are Francesco Russo, Barbara Chichiarelli, Benedetta Cimatti, Lorenzo Zurzolo, Gaetano Bruno, and Paolo Pierobon—a powerhouse ensemble poised to bring Italy’s most volatile era to the screen with nuance and intensity.
