Aamir Khan Productions Unveils Motion Poster and Trailer Date for Sitaare Zameen Par

In an exciting reveal, Aamir Khan Productions dropped the motion poster for its much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par and announced that the trailer will premiere tonight, May 13, 2025, across Zee Network Channels between 7:50–8:10 PM, followed by a digital launch on the production house's social media handles at 8:20 PM. The film is slated to hit theatres on June 20, 2025, with the campaign tagline #SabkaApnaApnaNormal, signaling a fresh take on inclusion, community, and the meaning of “normal.”

 

Directed by R.S. Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is being framed as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. While the original focused on dyslexia and childhood learning challenges, this new entry shifts the spotlight to neurodivergent adults participating in a community sports program. Inspired by the Spanish film Champions (2018), the story weaves together elements of comedy, drama, and social commentary, anchored in a sports setting.

 

The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, marking their first on-screen collaboration. Khan’s return to the screen, especially in a project exploring social themes, is already drawing attention. Known for his nuanced portrayals in films like Dangal and PK, his involvement is expected to elevate both the critical and commercial prospects of the film. Deshmukh’s role adds emotional texture, contributing to the story’s focus on empathy and collective growth.

 

With a massive ensemble cast and a creative team that includes industry stalwarts like music directors Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, and editor Charu Shree Roy, Sitaare Zameen Par positions itself as a thought-provoking entertainer.
