Shikhar Pahariya Stands by Janhvi Kapoor During Family Bereavement

As the Kapoor family mourns the passing of Nirmal Kapoor, matriarch and mother of Boney, Anil, and Sanjay Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor was seen outside her residence in Mumbai, visibly affected by the day’s events. Standing beside her was Shikhar Pahariya, offering quiet support despite having his arm in a sling, possibly due to a recent injury. His presence during the emotional moment did not go unnoticed, highlighting his closeness to Janhvi and the Kapoor family.

 

Janhvi, dressed in a simple white outfit, appeared busy and focused as arrangements for her grandmother’s funeral were underway. While other family members carried Nirmal Kapoor’s mortal remains into the van for the final rites, Shikhar remained by Janhvi’s side, exchanging a few words with her just outside the main door of the house. The two shared a subdued yet intimate moment amid the somber atmosphere.

 

Several members of the extended Kapoor family and close friends arrived at the residence throughout the day to pay their respects. The quiet activity around the house reflected both the grief of losing a family elder and the solidarity of loved ones coming together. Actor-producer Boney Kapoor, Nirmal’s eldest son, was seen briefly speaking with visitors at the main entrance, maintaining composure as he greeted those offering condolences.

 

The funeral for Nirmal Kapoor is scheduled to take place at the Vile Parle Crematorium. The coming together of the Kapoor family in such a difficult time reflects the deep bonds shared among them, with Janhvi and Shikhar’s public appearance underscoring the strength of their personal connection amid shared grief.
