Jubin Nautiyal and Afsana Khan's 'So Lene De' Echoes Patriotism Ahead of Ground Zero Release

Zee Music Company just unveiled the first single from the highly anticipated war drama Ground Zero, and it's already tugging at heartstrings. Titled So Lene De, the song is a soulful salute to soldiers and their silent battles — both on and off the battlefield.

The official post teased the emotional depth of the track with the caption: “He won the fight, but not without scars. #SoLeneDe — Song out now.” With stirring vocals by Jubin Nautiyal and Afsana Khan, heartfelt lyrics by Vayu, and a moving composition by Tanishk Bagchi and Aakash Rajan, So Lene De beautifully captures the emotional aftermath of war, resilience, and sacrifice.

The song sets the tone for Ground Zero, which is inspired by the life of BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. Portrayed by Emraan Hashmi, the film chronicles the officer’s fearless mission that led to the elimination of one of India’s most wanted terrorists, Ghazi Baba — a milestone in BSF’s history that earned him the Kirti Chakra in 2005.

This marks Emraan Hashmi’s first outing as an Indian Army officer, and the buzz is high to see how he embodies the grit and honor of a real-life war hero. The emotional depth he brings to So Lene De’s visuals is just a glimpse of what audiences can expect from the full feature.

Adding to the patriotic fervor, the official BSF India handle also shared the trailer on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Based on the true events from the life story of Shri NND Dubey, DIG (Retd), Kirti Chakra, BSF. A faceless enemy, a fearless officer. The hunt begins."

Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Ground Zero also stars Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit theatres on April 25, 2025 — a powerful tribute to bravery, just in time to stir national pride.
