Govinda Pays Emotional Tribute to Former Secretary Shashi Prabhu

Bollywood actor Govinda was seen deeply emotional as he bid his final farewell to his former secretary, Shashi Prabhu, on Thursday, March 6. The actor attended the funeral at Shashi’s residence in Mumbai, where the heart-wrenching farewell left many in the crowd teary-eyed. Several pictures and videos shared on social media captured Govinda wiping away tears as he stood solemnly during the last rites.

 

Shashi Prabhu, who had been suffering from heart issues and had recently undergone bypass surgery, passed away on Wednesday in Mumbai. The cause of his death is yet to be officially confirmed. Shashi’s untimely passing has left many, especially those close to him, in shock. Govinda, who shared a long and close bond with Shashi, appeared devastated by the loss, and in the photos, he is seen wearing a white kurta, with a cloth tied around his head, honoring the final rites.

 

The funeral took place at Shashi’s Niranjan Society home in Chikuwadi, Borivali West, where the actor stood amidst the grieving crowd, offering his prayers and folding his hands in respect. In a moment of grief, he stood by, offering silent support during the rituals. Govinda’s current secretary, Shashi Sinha, also spoke about the deep relationship between the actor and his former secretary, recalling their bond and the immense respect they had for each other.

 

Shashi Prabhu’s passing marks the end of an era for Govinda, as he had been an integral part of the actor's professional and personal life.
