Santhanam’s DD Next Level to Drop First Single on February 26, 2025

Santhanam and his team are gearing up to bring another dose of horror-comedy to the big screen this summer with DD Next Level, the fourth film in the Dhilluku Dhuddu (DD) franchise. The actor recently announced that the film’s first single will be released on February 26, 2025, at 11 am. Directed and written by S Prem Anand, who helmed the previous installment DD Returns (2023), DD Next Level is slated for release in May 2025.

 

Produced by Arya and Niharika Entertainment, the film also features a star-studded cast that includes Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Geethika, Yashika Aannand, Maaran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Kasthuri Shankar, and Rajendran, among others. With the dubbing works in full swing, the team is busy wrapping up the final stages of production. The film will showcase music composed by oFRo, editing by Bharath Vikraman, and cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy.

 

In a recent press statement, director Prem Anand shared some exciting details about the film, revealing that the story kicks off on a cruise ship and takes the characters to an island. A massive set was erected for the project with a substantial budget to bring the exciting storyline to life. Prem Anand also teased that the film will be even more thrilling and hilarious than DD Returns, offering an enjoyable experience for fans of all age groups.

 

The Dhilluku Dhuddu franchise, known for blending horror and comedy, has been a commercial success at the box office. The first film, directed by Rambhala, was released in 2016, followed by Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 in 2019, and DD Returns in 2023. With DD Next Level, fans can expect another rollercoaster of laughs and thrills, continuing the legacy of the successful franchise.
