Speaking about the film, Vicky expressed, "For us, this is a special event because we wanted to announce something special. The journey of Chhaava began right here. On August 15, 2024 when Stree 2 was released, we launched its teaser at Chitra Cinema in Dadar, Mumbai. The love and support we received from the audience here was very special to us. Now, as we approach Chhaava Diwas, we are coming back to where it all began."
Reflecting on his role in Chhaava, Vicky shared, "As an actor, it’s truly a privilege to portray this role. I am grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan for this opportunity. In Maharashtra, everyone knows about our Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the ruler of the Maratha Empire , but it’s important that children all around the world understand who our kings were, what they did, and the changes they brought about. The youth of today, and the future generations, should know what our warriors accomplished so that we can share these moments of joy together."
Vicky emphasized the significance of the film in preserving and sharing history: "This film will entertain and inform you, but most importantly, it is our duty to take our history forward, to carry the glory of our kings and warriors into the future. This is our small effort to do that."
He concluded by urging the audience to watch the film: "We are hopeful that you will come and watch Chhaava, and together, we will take this glory forward."
