In a press conference held in Mumbai for the highly anticipated film Pushpa: The Rule, Rashmika reflected on the five-year journey she’s had with the Pushpa franchise, revealing that meeting Allu Arjun for the first time was an unforgettable moment.

 

Looking back at her first day on set for Pushpa, Rashmika recalled feeling extremely nervous, especially while meeting the superstar Allu Arjun for the first time. “I didn’t know where to begin. My first shot was for Pushpa, and I was so nervous. Meeting Allu Arjun sir for the first time was a big moment. He is a superstar, and I had no idea how to react or behave around him," she admitted, adding, "But today, standing in front of him, he feels like family. He feels like home.”

 

The five years since that first meeting have been a whirlwind for Rashmika, with Pushpa marking a major turning point in her career. Reflecting on the journey, she described it as an emotional rollercoaster full of highs and lows, but ultimately, filled with immense gratitude. "The five-year journey has been so different – an emotional ride, filled with ups and downs. But today, as we stand here with Pushpa: The Rule, I feel nothing but gratitude. Allu Arjun sir will always be super special to me," she shared with a smile.

 

As Pushpa: The Rule gears up for its much-awaited release on December 5, 2024, Rashmika’s emotional connection with the film and her co-star Allu Arjun is evident. The duo, who have become beloved by fans across the nation, are set to bring more action, drama, and charisma to the big screen, making the second installment of Pushpa one of the most anticipated films of the year.
