Eleven year old Mildred's world is turned upside-down when her estranged father, the washed-up magician Strawn Wise, comes to look after her and agrees to take her camping to find a mythological beast known as the Canterbury Panther.
The film stars Elijah Wood, Nell Fisher, Morgana O’Reilly, Michael Smiley, and Vanessa Stacey.
In the midst of a family crisis, a washed-up American illusionist (Elijah Wood) and his long-estranged precocious daughter (Nell Fisher) venture into the New Zealand wilderness in order to find a mythical black panther known as the Canterbury Panther.
The screenplay is written by Toby Harvard. The film is slated for August 8th, 2024 release.
