In 2006, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2022, Chiranjeevi was awarded the IFFI Indian Film Personality of the Year Award at the 53rd IFFI.
On the work front, Ram Charan is busy wrapping Game Changer, a political action thriller film directed by Shankar, written by Karthik Subbaraj.
The film also stars Kiara Advani, Anjali, Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, and Nassar. It is scheduled for a worldwide release in October 2024.
