Rathnam is written and directed by Hari. It is jointly produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam and Alankar Pandian under Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios and Invenio Origin.
The film stars Vishal, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju,Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Yogi Babu.
The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography handled by M. Sukumar and editing by T. S. Jay.
Apart from Rathnam, actor Vishal is also busy with his directorial venture titled Thupparivaalan 2. The film also stars Prasanna, Rahman, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Gautami and Suresh Chakravarthi.
