Dhanush Confirms #DD3

Actor Dhanush has announced his third directorial venture with a concept poster. The actor has also revealed the film will release exactly one year from now on December 21, 2024.

Sharing the poster on his social media, Dhanush captioned his post, “DD3”

The poster is a shot of an empty park bench with the vast blue sea in the background. Instead of one, we have two crescent moons doubling up as alphabets ‘DD’ (Dhanush’s Directorial).

Dhanush made his directorial debut back in 2017 with the film Pa Pandi, which was about the journey of a retired stunt director to find his lost love. The movie was celebrated by both critics and fans for being simple and effective. Dhanush is next directing himself in a film, tentatively titled D50, and the details of it have been kept under wraps.

Other than these two projects, Dhanush will next be seen in Arun Matheshwaran’s period film Captain Miller, which is set in the 40s.

The movie also stars Priyanka Mohan, Sandeep Kishan and Shivrajkumar in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film, which will be released on Pongal 2024.
