Sonu Sood was interacting with the media on the sidelines of 'Mai Bhi Sonu Sood, campaign completion, which was kick-started by his close friend.
Talking about the campaign, Sonu Sood said, “Idea to establish a community across nation, and wherever you go, you’re able to connect with this community and find help, it doesn’t matter whether it's financial, medical, or educational help, I want people to stay connected to authentic help groups.”
When asked about his upcoming movie, which he co-wrote and will headline, Sonu said, “We just wrapped Fateh; it is a film which is inspired from real life events which took place during COVID. The kind of hardship that people went through, and top of that, they got duped during such terrible times, people were tricked into believing that someone can help them reach me, and they got tricked.”
“In fact, there are thousands of people every day who become victims of cybercrime, and I have had personal experience with it, and we wrote this script of Fateh, and it is a special film” added Sonu Sood.
Fateh also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Shivjyoti Rajput and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. Directed by Vaibhav Mishra, the film recently wrapped its shoot.
