Rana Daggubati Unveils Rakshasa Raja Shoot On His Birthday

On his birthday, actor Rana Daggubati announced his next with director Teja. The two had previously worked in the successful Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The new project is titled Rakshasa Raja.

 

 

Rana took to social media to announce the project with a first-look poster. He captioned it, “#RakshasaRaja Begins” 

 

On the poster, Rana is seen holding a massive gun on shoulder with a cigar in his mouth. The actor said that the shooting of the film has begun.

 

The film is touted to be a gangster drama. The film is poised to set new benchmarks in the realm of Telugu cinema. 

 

Apart from Rakshasa Raja, actor Rana is also busy wrapping Vettaiyan,  written and directed by T. J. Gnanavel. IThe film stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan.

 

The film has have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography handled by S. R. Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj.

 

Vettaiyan is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2024.
