Helmed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the film features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film revolves around a troubled father-son (Ranbir-Anil) bond against the backdrop of extreme bloodshed in the underworld which causes the son to become a vicious psychopath.
Produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios. The film also Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri. The cinematography has been handled by Amit Roy.
Animal was scheduled to be released on 11 August 2023, but was pushed to 1 December 2023 due to extensive post-production work.
