Jawan, Aarya And John Legend, This Year I Got The Harvest Says Raja Kumari

Rapper Raja Kumari on Wednesday shared her experience of working with actor Sushmita Sen, Shah Rukh Khan and Hollywood icon Jonh Legend. 

 

After singing the 'Jawan' theme for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the Indian-American singer has now come up with a song 'Sherni Aayi' from Sushmita Sen-starrer 'Aarya 3, and first ever collaboration with Hollywood signer John Legend. 

 

Expressing her excitement over three massive collaboration in one year, Raja said, “This year has been amazing, it started off with John Legend coming to India for our first collaboration, than Jawan and now Aarya, I feel like this year has taught me that whenever you have a dream, you plant that seed, you never know when it’s going to bloom, this year has been the harvest for me. I am very happy, and I feel very welcomed in the Bollywood, I feel like people understand my sound, they’re welcoming me and giving me exciting projects, so I am happy.” 

 

The Aarya song's shows Sushmita in fierce avatar as Aarya Sareen. Raja Kumari undoubtedly roars with her powerful vocals.

 

Talking about it, Kumari added, “Working with Sushmita Sen has been a dream of mine, she is so powerful. Almost a year ago, I sort of told the universe that I wanted to meet her, talk to her, have a lunch with her, because I wanted to learn from her, because she feels like a strong women, who does whatever she wants and what’s right for her, I am inspired by that. When I got the song, I knew I had to do justice to the song and, whatever I sing, she would embody that, and it was fun doing the video.”
