Actor Vikram took to his social media profile and dropped the teaser, he tweeted, “The son of Gold rises, Unveiling the spine-chilling #ThangalaanTeaser”
Vikram plays the role of a tribal fighter who fiercely protects his people from external threats, especially the British forces attempting to mine gold in their lands.
The teaser portrays a dark and intense tone, featuring elements of brutality and the tribe's resistance against invaders, showcasing a raw and savage portrayal of their struggle for survival.
The movie, written and directed by Pa Ranjith, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Harikrishnan Anbudurai.
Moreover, with music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, 'Thangalaan' is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 26, 2024, coinciding with Republic Day.
