Ayodhya, Oct 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to pay homage to those who lost their lives during the Ram temple movement.
The Trust has planned an 11-day ritual from Tuesday in the ongoing Pitra Paksha, on the banks of river Saryu in Ayodhya.
In the fortnight long Pitra Paksha, Hindus perform religion Vedic rituals for ancestors.
These rituals will start with the Navah Parayan path in Ayodhya by around 10,000 families. This path involves recital of complete Ramcharitmanas in nine days that will end on October 11.
The Trust has roped in around 10,000 families of Ayodhya that will recite complete Ramcharitmanas in nine days, starting from Tuesday.
On the last day of the event on October 13, the Trust will light 10,000 earthen lamps at Ram Ki Paidi on the bank of river Saryu to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the Ram Mandir movement.
The initiative was taken on the advice of Lakshmi Kant Dwivedi, famous Vedic priest of Kashi.
According to the Trust, the event was planned at the RSS meeting on September 29 in Ayodhya. In this meeting, general secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, other members of the Trust and VHP leaders were present.
Anil Mishra, member of the Trust, informed that the Trust had decided to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the 500-year-long Ram temple movement.
