Fatima Sana Shaikh Praises Kids For Participating In Mithi River Clean-A-Thon

Actress Fatima Sana Shaiikh, who flagged off the mega Mithi River Clean-A-Thon on World Beach Clean Up Day, On Saturday, praised the kid-volunteers for being concerned about the future. 



Fatima Sana Shaikh along with Esha Deol, Karishma Tanna, Sophie Choudry, Rahul Shewale and Rahul Narverkar, graced the Mithi River Clean-A-Thon drive on World Beach Clean Up Day at Mahim Creek in Mumbai. 


While interacting with Newshelpline, actress Fatima praised the kids participating in the clean-up drive, she said, “I would like to thank everyone who came to help, the volunteers and the kids, because it is such a huge deal, being a part of such a great initiative and these kids are participating at such a tender age, that shows they are concerned about the future.”


“Now this garbage might repel some people and no one wants to touch it, but these kids want to clean it up, this act speaks volumes about you. And watching these kids, I am sure other people will be inspired to participate, maybe to click some selfies, but that is also good" added Fatima. 


On the work front, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen playing the role of Indira Gandhi in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. IThe film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Neeraj Kabi, Sanya Malhotra, Edward Sonnenblick, and Zeeshan Ayyub.


The film is slated for 1st December 2023 release.
