Atlee Kumar’s Hindi debut Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Deepika Padukone, opened with a bang at ticket-window.
Praising Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee Kumar for their first collaboration, SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter profile and wrote, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office…What an earth-shattering opening…Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success…:)”
Jawan has racked-up a whopping 65.50 crore on its opening day, which is even bigger than SRK’s last outing Pathaan.
On the work front, SS Rajamouli is committed to collaborate with actor Mahesh Babu. The film, touted to be a jungle adventure set in Africa, is expected to begin its production in 2024.
