Directed by R Balki, Ghoomer the movie narrates the inspiring story of a paraplegic athlete portrayed by Saiyami, who achieves great success in cricket with the guidance of her coach, played by Abhishek.
The film also stars Shabana Azmi, and Angad Bedi in prominent roles and Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo.
Ghoomer tells the story of a batting prodigy female cricketer (Saiyami) meeting with an accident and losing her right arm. Her dream of playing for Indian cricket was over until she meets a drunk coach (Abhishek), who teaches her bowling with her good left arm.
The film is also written by Balki, Ghoomer is set to hit the cinemas on August 18.
