Sharing the teaser on his social media, Akshay Kumar captioned his post, “#HarHarMahadev song out tomorrow. #OMG2 in theatres on August 11.”
The first song, Oonchi Oonchi Waadi, wwas an instant hit with fans, the song showed Pankaj as an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, looks like the second song is also dedicated to Lord Shiva, as Akshay Kumar is seen donning the lord’s avatar.
The OMG 2 teaser was unveiled last week and was received well by the audience. It introduced Pankaj as a Shiva devotee named Kanti Sharan Mudgal while Akshay was seen in a look inspired from Lord Shiva. He was seen with six pack abs in a shirtless avatar and sported dreadlocks.
Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 also stars Yami Gautam as a lawyer. The film is a sequel to Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar's 2012 film OMG: Oh my God'. Akshay's character was inspired by Lord Krishna in that film.
The film also stars Govind Namdev, and Arun Govil as Lord Rama. The music of the film is composed by Vikram Montrose, Hansraj Raghuwanshi, Djstrings, Pranaay and Sandesh Shandilya.
The film is slated for 11th August 2023 release.
