Bollywood celebrities along with series ensemble graced the special screening, such as Kajol, Tanishaa Mukerji, Tanuja, Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Gaurav Pandey, Suparn Varma, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Rohit Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Darshan Kumar, Aanand L Rai, Pragya Jasiwal, Shriya Saran and lot more attended the special screening of The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha.
Actress Kajol was seen in a red designer outfit, while Jisshu Sengupta, who plays the role of Kajol's husband, was snapped in a black formal outfit.
Nushrratt Bharuccha stole the limelight with her new look and her driving skills. She drove herself to the screening and when asked about if she a good driver, she said, “Of course I drive everyday”
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is known for his humbleness, helped a fan who was struggling to take a picture with him. The KKK host took the phone and clicked a selfie with the fan.
The Trial is an adaptation of Robert King and Michelle King's The Good Wife, being directed by Suparn Verma and featuring Kajol in the lead role. The series is centered on a housewife who, after 10 years, returns to work at a law firm to support her family when her husband gets imprisoned.
The series starts streaming from 14th July only on Disney Plus Hotstar.
