The official handle of Dharam Productions shared the release date of the film, it said, “Arriving on the pitch on 15th March 2024 - in cinemas near you! @karanjohar @apoorva1972 @rajkummar_rao @janhvikapoor @sharanssharma @mehrotranikhil @somenmishra @shariq_patel @zeestudiosofficial @sonymusicindia”
Backed by Dharma Productions and directed by Sharan Sharma, the film is said to be a cricket drama.
Janhvi Kapoor took training from Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik for her role, she will be seen playing a batsman in the movie.
The film marks second collaboration between Janvhi and Sharan Sharma, the duo earlier worked on Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl.
In Mr. And Mrs. Mahi, Rajkummar Rao and Janvhi Kapoor will play characters named Mahendra and Mahima, respectively. The movie will be released in theatres on 15th March 2024.
Rajkummar Rao is also busy with SRI, a biopic based on visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla. Backed by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, helmed by Tushar Hiranandani. It will also feature Alaya F, Jyothika and Sharad Kelkar.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is busy with Bawaal.
