New Delhi, June 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday held an important strategy meeting with Telangana leaders over the Assembly polls in the state scheduled to take place later this year.
The meeting is taking place at the party headquarters and is being attended by senior leader Rahul Gandhi, general secretary K.C. Venugopal, Mukul Wasnik, state in-charge Manikrao Thakre, state unit chief A. Revanth Reddy.
According to a party leader, the meeting is being held to discuss the party's poll preparedness in Telangana and decide on the strategy for the state.
Before the meeting, Kharge met party chairperson Sonia Gandhi at her residence in the presence of Congress strategist Sunil Kanugolu and Rahul Gandhi.
The meeting came a day after several rebel BRS leaders joined the Congress, including former minister Jupally Krishna Rao and former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
