I Am Reluctant And Anxious For Every Role Says Anil Kapoor

Mumbai, 26th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who recently clocked 4 decades in film industry, says he harness his negative feelings, such as reluctance, nervousness, and anxiousness, and make something good out of it. 

 

Anil Kapor along with co-actor Aditya Roy Kapur and director Sandeep Modi were promoting the second season of The Night Manager. 

 

News was viral that Anil Kapoor was reluctant about his role of Shelly Rungta in the series, when asked about the same, he said, “I am reluctant for each and every role, nothing like I was only reluctant for my role in The Night Manager, because there is always this anxiousness and nervousness that whether I will be able to do the role or not, and I use that energy to do my role” 

 

“I seriously don’t know how to do a role with over-confidence. Somehow these little things help me to do my role, exactly the way my director wants me to do it. I draw energy from my reluctance and anxiousness” added Anil. 

 

The Night Manager series serves as a remake of the British television series The Night Manager (2016) based on the John Le Carre's novel of the same name.

 

The series also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, Saswata Chatterjee in supporting roles. It will start streaming from 29th June 2023 only on Disney Plus Hotstar.
